I was born and lived most of my life in Morrisonville NY. For as long as I can remember we had activity in my family home.Paranormal activity like cabinet doors and refridgerator doors that would open and close by themselves.. I can remember many days coming home from school, knowing I was alone and hearing the pool balls on the pool table rolling around and falling into the pockets down in the ball shoot. My family always knew we weren't alone. My mom told us that my grandfather, great grandfather and my uncle all died in the house .Back then they were laid out in the house for the funeral.
Now I live in Bristol CT. When we first bought the house we heard alot of stories about the first owner and how she burned to death in the back yard. As you go into my room there are drop down attic stairs.One day I went upstairs into my room and back downstairs because I forgot something,.When I returned upstairs the attic door was open about 4 inches.Wind and other things could of opened it, but we had installed two locks when we first moved in so theres no way they could have opened by themselves.One night while I was sleeping, I felt someone touch my leg in a poking manor.I thought I was my youngest daughter Jade, so I got up and went into her room and she was on the top bunk sound asleep. I went back to bed, and before I could fall asleep it happened again. The next time I was sleeping and I felt someone pulling on my pillow. I thought it was my husband till I rolled over and he was facing the other dirrection. He thought I was crazy at first untill the day I heard someone saying his name... this time I didnt say anything to him as I figured he would think I was nuts again.A few days later he told me how he had thought he heard someone say his name.He finally realized we weren't alone.
People ask why we like to investigate the paranormal. I do it because I believe that there are spirts on earth , good and bad. I know that it can be very scary living with one if you dont know much about them, so if we can learn more about why they are here we can help others understand.In alot of cases what people believe to be paranormal really isnt. Its things like bad wiring in the home, the way drafts efffect movement on objects, sometimes as simple as the things around the home.. but if we can prove or disprove the existence of spirts, then I feel we have accomplished what we set out to do.
